Amazing Race @ ST. MICHAEL'S 2007
it was AMAZING man, haha get it? ;D OKAY SHUT UP AGAIN JLOONG.
started off the race with a mass, and did you all know that every public holiday, churches hold masses? DID YOU KNOW THAT? woah, i never did. anyway, uncle freeman escaped and pon-ed mass cause he hasn't ate, so he had to go eat breakfast. haha. so the rest of us had to go, LEAVING US TO DIE WITH THE LADY WHO WAS SINGING. cause no choir right? so there had to be some one, and suay day, it was that lady. WOAH, crazy man, she sounded like she was killing some chicken. OH MY MY. anyway, and all the groups gathered for some briefing before the race started. HELLO WORLD, GUESS WHAT OUR GROUP NAME WAS? corn. haha ;D supposed to stand for, Celebrating Our Religious Needs. haha, damn stupid name lah. in the end cause there was another team with this nice, coolio name. EXODUS. haha so we decided that corn will mean the short form of corinthians (SP?) haha.

we solved clues, puzzles, suduku (<3333333), bible verses, to find the link to a church name.
1. Church of our Lady of Lourdes
2. Church of St. Peter & Paul
3. Cathedral of the Good Shepherd
4. St. Joseph Church
5. St. Michael's
i think these were the 5 churches we had to go to, all were in the city district. we thought it would have been longer, but it ended early. oh, different things happened at different places.
poor uncle freeman tripped over something and fell at the gravel place at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd. DAMN PAIN LAH! right in front of the statue of Pope John Paul 2. the gravel cut his; fingers, elbow, shoulder, knee, leg, chin, teeth&gums, and a blue black at the head. SUPER POOR THING LAH. cause he was too anxious to get to the other part of the church, and he tripped over the gravel & sand stuff. then he fell and cut the skin/ scraped his skin. and he hit his head at the step. he thought he was going to need stiches, but THANK GOD, really thanking God, it wasn't a cut no blood at the head. just a blue-black i guess. but then he was kind of bloody all over. like here you see a cut, there you see another one. SUPER POOR THING LAH! anyway, he said he was okay, and we continued lah.
uncle freeman brought up bryan again, wahlao. AIYERRR. on the mrt, on the way to our first church destination, he was like. "oh yah jocelyn, i forgot to tell you that, that day i saw bryan."
then i was like scared lah, later i accidentally say somemore things, then he go and TALK TO BRYAN AGAIN! haha, anyway, so i was like " AHH, NO NO, I DONT' WANNA HEAR" haha, then he was like, oh okay lor dont' tell you what happened. HAHA like real he saw him lah! haha.
Run, Laugh, Talk, Find, Solve, Smile, Think, Eat. that's like the summary for roughly what we did. haha. we had to Run quite a lot, to catch up and all those. we obviously Laughed a lot. cause the stupid joshua and alex kept making fun of me. STUPID LAH. & of course, of course, of course we Talked. we had to Find the churches and clues too. then Solve them.
AND AND, cause our church has professional photographers, so on this race, we had 2 photographers following groups around lah. so the photographer kept stalking us. haha, kept following us around. then i kept stopping to smile for the camera. until joshua & uncle freeman couldn't stand it. hello being a girl, ij girl, jloong, jocelyn, & BASICALLY A GIRL, i had to stay glam right?! haha, can't let them put up a super unglam photo of me like wiping my sweat or something. so when i was solving the sudoku, and the photographer was like there, THERE. aiyerr, so i had to keep smiling lah. then uncle freeman was like, "AIYOH, POSE WHAT POSE?! SOLVE THE PUZZLE LAH. " HAHA. damn funny. when i get the photos, then i'll show you what i mean. haha damn funny. anyway, we also had to Think for some bits. and yeah we got to Eat chicken rice ;D haha.
oh and at every station, we had to tell them what group we were, HAHA. SO MAHLU LAH.

us: (laughs, and say) EH, CORN.
us: BREAKS OUT LAUGHING. haha.
what a name man.
winded up in my church, ST. MICH'S ;D and had tea.
then we had a video show thing of all the photos. damn nice lah!
prize presentation next. GUESS WHAT? CORN CAME IN 2ND MAN ;D woohoo ;D ;D ;D
after that, went to aunty daph's house. aunty daph, uncle henry, josh, clara, me, uncle freeman walked back to her house. stoned for a while, played sims (haha we were bored), drank smoothie, and had dinner at their house. PIZZA ;D and talked over pizza.
then dad came to walk back with me. woohooo! damn fruitful lah the walk back. i managed to tell my dad why i needed to learn water sports and all those. and then we talked about june holiday, as in where we were going. our family arh, damn last min. i was like, "so we're going malaysia lah, since so last min already" then my dad was like" yah, we can go visit pehpeh(uncle) in malacaa first, then drive up to KL or where ever lah" then i was like okay anything. but i thought that time you said we were going to what rendang? then my dad was" oh redang (malaysia beach spot), anything, if want to go still can. or else phuket also can lah.
THEN I WAS LIKE, WHAT?! now you still want to book last min tickets to phuket. haha, just cause i wanna try water sports. haha, damn stupid lah. the last trip i went to bangkok, we paid like 300 over for 1person's ticket. and on the SAME PLANE, the person sitting next to us managed to get tickets for like 80bucks.
Moral of the Story: BOOK IN ADVANCE AND PLAN ALL HOLIDAYS EARLIER. cheaper lah. haha ;D
UPDATE NOTES;
- jloong's taking drums ;D like finally man. (gotta check out days for lessons lah)
- jloong's dad doesn't mind jloong trying WATER SPORTS ;D like yay!
which means i can take a course for like WAKE-BOARDING, jet-ski, parasailing?, sailing ;D
- jloong's family actually decided that we're going away for june hols.
damn last min lah the loongs. as usual.
